Linnet Tell-Waldron- Trainer

USDF Bronze and Silver medalist. Linnet is currently competing two horses at Intermediate and aiming for Grand Prix 2018.

Linnet has a Masters Degree in Education and over 30 years experience in the equine industry.  Linnet combined these two passions in 2002 to form Windswept Farm LLC.  Initially an avid event rider, Linnet trained and competed multiple horses to the FEI  level with great success.  Linnet has multiple students that started in her eventing program and excelled through preliminary and intermediate levels, including many Pony Club graduates who achieved their A, HA, and B ratings.

In the fall of 2012 Linnet made the choice to pursue her deep love of dressage and purchased a lovely WB gelding, Cygaro, who had just started 3rd level. They quickly bonded and achieved good success at 3rd and 4th levels, culminating in a 12th place finish at USDF 3rd level Open Regional Championships in their first together!  The following year 2014 Linnet and Cygaro again achieved a big milestone by receiving both USDF Bronze and Silver medals.

2016 was again very successful year as Linnet rode Karen Leonard's Draft-Cross gelding Neko, a horse they have had since he was 3 years old, to good scores in his move up to the Intermediate level! Linnet also moved up Lee Reilly's exciting young horse, Drifter's Way, another horse they have had since he was 4 years old, to the Prix St George at just 8 years old.  The future looks bright with these lovely horses to compete.

2016 also started off with Linnet purchasing the lovely young Expresso, aka Zazu! Looking forward to a bright and exhilarating future with this amazing young horse.

With a lovely group of students, competing from Intro to 4rd level, Windswept Farm is an exciting and relaxing environment that allows for full educational opportunities.  As an active barn that supports learning as the most important aspect of horsemanship, we have many clinicians from all over the world come to inspire us all.
